I had never seen this kind of badge (like on the Kletterweste or sports uniform) on this kind of work jacket.

Hi B,

These chaps are wearing the Geländesportanzug with no insignia other than the cloth diamond on the sleeve which means that they are attending a course at a leadership school1 (Führerschule) - most likely a Bannführerschule as they look quite young. The training staff wore the same but they had the district triangle above the diamond. I think that the HJ armband was worn by trainees at the WEL (y)

Indeed Wim. That's a nice photo showing instructors wearing both the cloth patch and the area triangle, trainees just wearing the cloth diamond. Exactly in accordance with the regulations (y)
