Picked this up from my friend Bill at Paper's Please. I always liked this version because of the embossed BDM logo on the cover...interestingly, this girl has some of the qualifications entered, but the award page was never filled out.

Here's another one of these I recently picked up. I think this is my favorite one right now, with the beetle hair ties contrasting so sharply with the very stern look she is projecting. She was awarded a BDM badge. Best, Tony

I found this photo in a photoalbum from a Heer training unit in Denmark. Two of the young soldiers are wearing a silver or gold Leistungsabzeichen. .

This is my latest achievement, a very nice Mitte Sachsen triangle. It came together with a BDM bicycle pennant and a beautiful HJ Puma Knife. Thanks again to Mark from MK2 militaria making this trade possible.

DJ Hordenführer in winteruniform with Rank patch, Edelweiss and DJ Leistungabzeichen. Number on shoulderboard looks to me to be in the 70 numbers (73, 75 or 79) but that does not match the Edelweiss....? Anyone recognize the mountains? .
