There were a number of Marine Flak emplacements for instance in Kiel and Heligoland staffed by Marine HJ.
Did their uniforms differ from the Luftwaffe grey/blue uniform cut into the HJ style ?

Here's that photo I asked about in the specialist insignia section. Thought I'd scan it properly now that I have it. Perhaps unremarkable to some, but a cool little photo if you ask me. And only 2 euro.
Just got this on Ebay. Was wondering about the little "wing" badge. What is the deal with those? Can anyone tell me guidelines for wear or some such?

about "Luftwaffenhelfer" one finds on occasion material (documents, fotos, effects) but documents about "Marinehelfer" I have seen very seldom. Marinehelfer became exact like "LwH" used "Flakhelfer".
Does somebody still own material "marinehelfer" ?

I start today with a set of Flakhelfer portraits. It is interesting that both pictures show the same tunic, but in one there's the eagle and in the other not.

then one of my favourite actors, Hardy Krüger. He was drafted in HJ at 13 and then fought against the american with the 38 Waffen SS Div Nibelungen on the Oder Front.
