Again, thanks to Joe these nice pair of Landjahr straps arrived today. Now I have all parts to create a nice Landjahr frame. Would you have any idea for something to add to the group?

was the landjahr service obligatory after 8 years in school? or could the children choose not to do this? was this work period a minimum of 6 months?

Here's another one of these I recently picked up. I think this is my favorite one right now, with the beetle hair ties contrasting so sharply with the very stern look she is projecting. She was awarded a BDM badge. Best, Tony

Not for every collector but these are sort of neat IMO. Uncut examples and appear to be period from the photos. On EbayDE at the moment.
