Any opinions as to this cap? What is with the leather edge on visor? The Guild sold a HJ grouping with one similar. Were there private purchase HJ caps? It is presented with original paper label of maker.Here again I think its a civilian cap with the HJ pin.

Recently bought a scarf and toggle from HISCOLL and noted a tiny stamping on the toggle RZM 37. To small to photo was just wondering if anyone has a similar marking on their leather toggle :canada1

Leather belt, total length 98 cm. The belt was originally shorter, but when the boy grew, the belt was extended with an extra piece of leather. The belt is marked: RZM DJ Ausf. L2/331/38. Aluminium buckle marked RZM M4/24

I suspect this question has been asked before but I would like to seek advice as to what is good or acceptable practice for the care and preservation of a HJ Knife. Obviously certain things are definite don'ts i.e. using wire wool or abrasives and personally I would not consider sharpening...
