Hi Guys, I just acquired this today. Thought I would share it here.
Notice the unusual serial number that has been 'waved' through. It's got me perplexed:confused1:
Thanks for looking.
Hi Guys
Help again please. I just got these 2 BDM achievement badges, and I'm thinking they are both bronze awards, but one has had the finish rubbed off? I wouldn't be so lucky and it was a silver award?
They are both RZM numbered on the back with B (is this meaning they are replacements)...

I am a new member here and would like to share my reason for being interested in HJ items.

Well why not i ask. If fake and fantasy Emil Maurice items can be sold for tens of thousands, why not a lousy cast-in-a-cats-litter-tray proficiency badge for €85.-

the silver fanfare was with original bag with a name
the flag/banner i also bought, it was part of a collection so i didnt want it to break up the collection

Hello all, I am interested in buying a iron(black) DJ proficiency badge, maker is RZM 101 of course Gustav Brehmer. It has a six digit number to the reverse. My question is do they come solid black with no silver lettering or swastika? The one I am looking at is solid black, no silver showing, I...
Hello All,
I don't know if the badge is considered to be unusual?
Most of the other examples I have are made from a silver kunstoff (plastic) material. This one is pressed zinc.
The badge has two raised slots at the back for either sewing or pin mounting.
What do you think?
Cheers
Doug
This attempt at a silver BDM is so bad that it's not worth putting it into the fakes section. It's so bad that it makes you wonder why it exists. Reenactor badge? Or a possible "homemade" from the period like this one: http://www.hj-research.com/forum/f25/home-made-hj-golden-leader-mini-5699/
Does anyone have photos showing the bugle (Signalhorn) in use? It would be useful to get as many photos as we can together in one place in order to see just how much variety there was and also to see whether we can find a clear shot of a regulation bugle.
The regulation bugle is described as...
On Jamie Cross' site currently:
This looks like a silver HJ-Scharfschütze badge which has had some kind of gold wash applied to the wreath. I'm thinking "dodgy"..
Edit: just noticed that this badge has already been posted on the forum...
