I own there 2 hangers for several years now.

It seems to good to be true,
I really believe they are legit.

The first came in the box, and half a year later the second came from the same source, who (says) bought a household.
The same initials at both, so i believe to be a set.

They came at a price much LOWER then it would cost to make and fake this quality hangers in silver.

They are hand made 900 silver.
They came I a box from a watchmaker (They often also worked with silver and gold in that time) from the city of Düren.
The Adolf Hitler strasse was mostly distroyed in november 1944, but units of the 12 SS HJ were around there in 1944.

900 silver without other marking indicaties a private maker, an 900 was high quality and used in Germany late 19 and mid 20 century.

I think the initials A.v.C are written down a both.

You can see that everything is hand engraved ang high quality.

Two great keepsakes commemorating the two divisions; I assume these pendants were likely intended for necklaces.
It is well known that the 1st SS Division laid the foundation for the 12th Division and that they worked together—hence the combination of the Sig rune and the *Dietrich* (skeleton key) symbol.
Furthermore, I believe that these two pieces were made after 1945 as souvenirs.

The Adolf Hitler strasse was named that way untill 1947.
I cannot believe that it would be made between 1945-1947 in a badly damaged street/village.
But.. is it the box that belonged to those pieces.. no one kan tell that anymore.

900 silver is not also common used after the war.

But.. i think there will never be hard evidence.

I’m afraid I have to disagree with you there, sorry. Not a single Adolf-Hitler-Straße in the entire Deutsches Reich retained that name until 1947. They were all renamed immediately after the end of the war, regardless of which occupation zone they were in. You must have taken the renaming to Josef-Schregel-Straße on 30 January 1947 as the date of the name change. But from the end of the war until January 1947, this street had its old name again – Eisenbahnstraße.
