I did not know this. Wish I knew German. When I was young I tried to learn to speak the language but gave up. My father tried to teach me Czech but I didn’t have the aptitude for it.

Don't worry, even as a native speaker, most people wouldn't know that. These names are completely uncommon and unknown today. They were revived by a few in the 19th century and were intended to replace the Roman month names with German in TR, with modest success.
 
As a native speaker I´d like to confirm Jack´s comment. 99% of all Germans here do not know about the old designations.
 
I have to correct my self: UNTERLAND considers the region around the city of HEILBRONN (Württemberg) and friends told me that Brachet still is widely used for June.
