Today I received 3 of my mannequins back from the painted.
They where allready painted, but I did not like the style (to dark) so I invested in a better painter..
Pics at the left.. old style, at the right.. new style.

The 2 other picturs are mannequins allready done in the past by the same artist.

Impressive, Dirk! Display mannequins are too often disappointing in terms of their coloring and, even more so, their appearance. It is worth the investment to show off a fine uniform to its best advantage.

I think they turned out great, and an authentic face makes the uniforms look even more lifelike. It is always difficult to find a suitable figure for the uniform.

Like this? ;-)
"Berlin reichstag 1935" is written behind this picture, lol

Very nicely done, but it also looks a bit creepy. Chucky the Killer Doll and his friends.
Just kidding don't get me wrong.

I get you. I see the same. Especially the black and white, make the faces more different.

Was just playing with chat gpt. This one ain't gonna hang at the wall in my living room, ha ha
