They have learned that they can fleece people out of money for sure. When dealers like Johnson sell a knife with a green membership pin making wildly assumptive claims about it as legit it just compounds the problem. When other dealers back up these claims with "he's an expert" and "direct from a vet" it just keeps the BS going.
