Hello gents,

This is an extremely rare bdm jacket I bought 2 years ago but never showed..
The service jacket model 43.
It was designed in 1943 to replace the kletterweste .
Produced in very low numbers, rarely seen in photo's and even more in collections.

Enjoy this rare piece!

A very beautiful and rare piece, Dirk!
I missed out on one at an auction in Belgium about two years ago.

Damn, shit happens.. can't have it all offcourse.. curious what it went for..

This one is in my opinion unworn, or very less.
Love the RZM label with low number (logical, since they did not produced that much of them..

A great jacket. I remember seeing a jacket like this many years ago at the arms and militaria fair in Kassel. The seller wanted a lot of money for it, but they are indeed very rare, as they continued to be worn after the war ended.

That is indeed outstanding. First one of these that I've seen "in the flesh". Very nice. Have you ever seen a surviving example of the dress that went with this 1943 jacket?

Hey Garry.. nope!
I am glad to own 3 original "old style" skirts and one "discutable" one (which is good voor 95% of the collectors)

But it should look like this:
