Hi guys

What is your opinion on this rune patch ??
Is it a patch for Gruppe Süd ?? is it original ?? I have never had this type in my hand
so please give me your opinion.

I have owned a couple of these. In my hand they appeared to be original. It's not always clear with these D.J. Rune patches. Sometimes even in hand they can seem to be period but difficult to prove 100%.

If we refer to the SA colors of 1931, this insignia could be for DJ units in "Hochland" (south Bavaria) or better for units in "Hessen-Darmstadt"... and IMHO no problem with the originality.

I got the rune by post today, after reading your comments I dare buy it. It has just passed the "burning-test" 10 minuts ago - without problems, both the white and the black threads and it "feels good" in my hand - so thanks for your help.
