Hi everyone,

Anyone following the progress that these cold mint early HJ knives go for nowadays? The fetch the same price as a nice SS-dagger back in the early 90's. I have to admit :personally I'm a fan. The HJ knife is an extremely mass-produced object and there are no much good reasons to collect totally beaten up specimen unless you bought it from the original owner personally. The golden advice of any antiquarian would be: CONDITION! CONDITION! CONDITION! But on the other hand the prices going a bit crazy. My latest minty early knife I bought for around 1400 $ and now they climb even direction 2000 $

The prices are now insane. They have tripled in part in the past 10 years.
The rare HJ pieces in particular have risen sharply and it has become very difficult for a collector to acquire rare pieces if they only have an average salary.
It has become a very expensive hobby.
