It is a beautiful knife, and I do believe it is original; however, I am not entirely fond of the sheath. I suspect it may have been varnished over or subjected to some other form of treatment.

It’s the original blueing, not refinished.

It is original in near mint condition throughout. Textbook example.

Even finish around the hanger and you can see small nicks that go to the metal.
