Flakhelfer with "gull"

Here's that photo I asked about in the specialist insignia section. Thought I'd scan it properly now that I have it. Perhaps unremarkable to some, but a cool little photo if you ask me. And only 2 euro.

Nice photo.

I have seen the "gull" used like this on other photos. Maybe it was used to show that he was a Flieger-HJ.

When they passed the glider tests, they would use a metal/enamel glider badge, A, B or C level with one, two or three"gulls".
