New to this group and wondered if someone could help me.
I have a HJ badge with a number on it and wondered if there is a register that I could check to see who it belonged to.
I have been collecting militaria for years and it’s come to the time to sell it all. It’s been quite surprising some of the items purchased or given to me over the years - I lived in Germany in the 70’s and used to buy from the veterans at flea markets (car boots!) when I was 10 years old. I have spoken with some of the leading dealers.

Welcome to the forum.
The lists of awards were held by the Reichsjugendführung and unfortunately have not survived. Garry has painstakingly compiled a list from award certificates, achievement books and other sources. The numbers that can be assigned to a name can be found there.
Unfortunately, your number is not among them. It was awarded sometime between 1941 and 1943, according to similar numbers, which fits well with your zinc version badge made by Karl Wurster from Markneukirchen.
