Gausieger 1944 1. one

I have the opportunity to buy this first of 2 Gausieger 1944.

I am posting them in 2 posts so that they are not mixed up.

What do you think about the first one - is it good or bad?

Unfortunately I can't really help. I've owned two of these in the past and one was identified as a fake due to a difference on the bird's right shoulder (left shoulder when viewing the badge). As far as I know, the bird's head and neck are important. If you look at the beak on the second badge that you posted it is squashed and different to the originals. Hopefully someone else can help.

I have now looked at posts on the forum with “Gausieger 1944” and have come to the same conclusion as Garry, that on the 2nd one the beak and neck of the eagle have the wrong shape, and the beak looks too short.

So now the 2nd one is dropped.

What about the 1st one – when I look at the other posts I can’t see anything wrong with it, BUT ???

What is with the wrong feather on the right wing, does anyone have a picture of this error where I can see it exactly??

I now hope for more comments about the 1st one.
