Hi Anton,
I've amended the thread title for you as Meistersch. stands for Meisterschaft. Some believe that these are good and some don't. I've had a couple of this type of table medal for years now and have always resisted selling them because I can't unequivocally prove that they are period items.

As you can see from that thread, a medal like this was included in the set offered by Butschek many years ago. It's useful information. Also, a quick check shows that the event, date and location on your medal is a distinct possibilty.

I'll be putting this and another up for sale but I wanted to see what the current general opinion of these is. There has been general discussion in the past on this type of table medal. Some like them and some don't but I've never seen evidence offered one way or the other so I'd be interested...
