Paper tinnie - missing pin

Anyone have an intact example?

Hi do you realy think that has been a Pin on this one
 
Hi...I initially thought this tinnie would have a pin like on the DJH youth hostel tinnies (photo 1).

I searched for another example of this tinnie and located it in Mr. Tieste's latest set of tinnie reference books. The example I posted (photo 2) appears to have a metal attachment that might secure a pin like in photo 3.

My Rieden example doesn't have the metal attachment - I placed a black circle where the metal attachment should be located (photo 4).

What do you think?
