Three Bannfahnetrager insignia . these were only worn by Hitlerjunge and Jungvolk who were authorized to carry the Bannfahne . 1 HJ and 1 DJ per Bann . I would like to see photos of all known examples still in existence . It would be nice to have a thread on these to keep track of like the gefolgschaft and Bannfahne threads .

I have always been surprised at these insignia being what appears to be handmade. Same with BDM leadership insignia.

I agree Gefolgschaft. It often looks as if these patches were made by beginners.
Especially the silver edge is often very, very crudely positioned. See photo from
my book about gorgets of the TR.

Other page from the book. The actual order says the patches were to be hand-embroidered.
The one with 250 is a fake. The patches with 158 belonged to the person, whose gorget
is shown in my book with various photographs on pages 201, 202 and 203.
