HJ armband but different weave and no horizontal white bar?

Hello all. I'd greatly appreciate thoughts on this. No white stripe, but a slightly differing weave to the cloth. Original or otherwise?

Looks like the standard BeVo manufacturing method but no white stripe as you say. Very strange. I can't think of a logical reason for that...
