HJ/DLV arm insignia

So finally managed to find a DLV/HJ sleeve insignia at a reasonable price.

When I got it home and looked in Angolia's HJ book I could see that it was exactly the pictured insignia I had got hold of - it was a bit funny. Try to see for yourself, there are exactly the same spots and the same missing thread in the lower "wing" on the right.

Hello Michael,
Congratulations and I also looked for a long time until I got it at a good price.
In fact, it appears to be the same as in the book. The world is small and somehow something always pops up somewhere.

I think it adds a little extra to the item if it is shown in a book

Hi guys Not long ago I bought this shoulder strap. It's the first shoulder strap from "HJ Verwaltung" I got for my collection, I think they are quite rare. Before i bought it, I found a similar one in Wim's "Handbook of the Hitler-Jugend" on page 344 - I would even say that if I had not seen it...

A very rare shoulder board and I also have something from Wilhelm's book in my collection. Of course, it gives the piece an extra edge when it's illustrated in a reference book.
