Hj knife Justinus ...suspicious?

Hiball, i saw this early Hj knife marked Justinus but without Ges.Geschutz. Is It a Red flag?

More pictures would have been nice, but judging by the 2 you've shown, I don't see any red flags. It is an early type HJ knife without ricasso

Yours is not the only without Ges. Gesch. - I found this online at a dealer.

It may be because the leather buffer is missing on yours - here is a pic of 2 of my early versions. both with leather buffer.

When the leather buffer is missing it appears that there is a very small ricasso.
