Hello all,

I recently got this HJ leaders' lanyard with the RZM label still attached in excellent condition. Like with the recent post on my armband, I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but I've never seen one with a 'C'-label before (which would indicate a higher tax rate). You'd expect an 'A'-label on it as far as I know, so I would love to hear your opinions on this one.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Gerebernus

I saw another one on the internet with a B tag. I can't answer your question, but the lanyard and the tag (and its attachment) are period aswell. Maybe because the Hauptscharführer lanyard is a really thick one it was harder to tie it together, and so resulted in a higher price and tax. Only having a guess ...

So, checked the regulations - this is what they say about lanyards and tags:

Kameradschafts-/Jungenschaftsführer: 1/2 Pfennig (blue: "halb", red: A)
all the others up to Bannführer: 1 Pfennig (blue: no text, red: B).

Unfortunately, these are the 1936 regs, so the Hauptscharführer rank didn't exist then.
But it might be helpful anyway.
