Someone send me this pictureof a Wimpel. I do not know what to make of it. Looks like BDM but the reverse seems to say "Kam(eradschaft)" Teja which is of course a male unit type. Does any one know more?

6/13 is a Gefolgschaft designation and was not meant to be on a Wimpel unless for girls and then it would be Mädelgruppe or Jungmädelgruppe. Is this maybe then a unofficial Kameradschaft Wimpel? I am confused because the Kameradschaft did not officially carry a Wimpel after the big changes to flags in 1935 only the DJ Jungenschaft did carry one and it did not have any numbers like this.

I think this pennant is an early male version, before the structures and instructions from 1935,
when things were newly arranged. The question however is this: is it really an original?
The shown form was not included as such in "Die Uniformen der HJ" from 1933.

Strange Wimpel with conflicting signals but I kinda like it :)

hi it means Kameradschaft Teja,it is abreviated-and it is a term used for bothmale and female

Yes Dirk, it indeed means Kameradschaft Teja, but the number-indication is
not for females. Not at the moment this flag was meant to be used. In 1934
it was said: units from the BDM do use numbers up to a Gau.
Münster, which was a part of Gauverband 3 (West) did belong to Gau 5
(Münsterland) with itself being an Untergau.

YesWim you are correct, indded the numbers were different!
Thanks, it did not hit me looking at the pennent the first time.
