I picked this one up off the WAF. It was really cheap because the pin was busted. My question is what are the wave lines through the serial no on the back for? I have seen them before but the only time they seem to come into question is on the 101 copper back versions. So I think its more the 101 copper back medals not the wavy lines. Thanks for any help

These have come up on here in the past and the opinion is that they are post-war copies. Have a read of this thread first but there are others

I read that thread, I also read one like it on WAF, but it came down not to the wavy lines but the 101 copper back, that was suspicious. This is not a 101 nor a copper back.
 
Oh yes, that's true I forgot about the copper plate being the main giveaway. When you look at the edge of the badge can you clearly see that it was sheared after being struck?
 
I have not received it yet. I only paid $25 shipped because of the broken pin. I will post photos of the side once I get it in hand.
