HJ Reichskanzlei 19 March 1945

Good morning

I have a great interest in the Führerbunker in the last weeks of the war.
Reichsjugendführer Axmann brought a delegation of 20 HJ boys to the garden of the Reichskanzlei. AH and his staff joined the boys there.

Photos of this (19 March 1945) event are welknown.
This was the last public (in the press recorded) appearance of Hitler outside the bunker.

I own a 20 March 1945 newspaper with an article on this event.
I'm looking for period newspapers with printed photos of this event .... if those exist!

If a forum member knows of such a newspaper, I could start a search for it.

This is a delightful historical artifact and a treasure to hold. I am supposing the Völkischer Beobachter was printed in various cities throughout Germany. I wonder is these cities were identified on the newspaper itself.

Yes, this was the "Berlin" Edition as is printed in the heading.
There were other éditions (prints) like the "Munchen" and the "Norddeutsche" Editions.

At first, the newspaper was only published in München/Munich, by the publishing house Franz Eher. In 1930/31 there was a Berlin edition, but it was discontinued because of the long transport route by lorry from München; it was simply not up to date enough when it arrived in the capital.
From 1932 onwards the newspaper was also printed in Berlin, and from January 1933 there was also a North German edition. Later there was a South German edition and from 1938 a Wiener/Viennese edition. (wiki)

Ah! I thought this must have been the case as it was in other countries with national newspapers. About the same time I saw in an English movie the Daily Mail had different editions but did not identify the region by name, only by breaks in the bold line under the name on the masthead which would look like bad printing to a regular reader. Thanks.
