Hi everyone,

There is an HJ- Jacket on a dealer's website, which looks very curious to me. He's asking for $4,500. I attach some images. My concerns are:
1. He describes it as a Stammfuhrer tunic, but the shoulder boards don't appear to have anything to with HJ units. The dealer explain this as probably being Custom official's boards used because they may have run out of usual HJ boards. I've even checked Customs' officials boards and the black flecks do not seem to match even these.
2. The sleeve triangle purports to be in a Bevo-weave, but the weave pattern appears to run in a diagonal from left to right. On all the triangles I have seen, the Bevo weave runs always in a diagonal right to left.
3. The RZM label has a hersteller code "620" without a D1 or D2 prefix.

Am I being too critical or would it be a good investment? I would very much appreciate your advice. Thanks

Regarding the shoulder boards: they are not HJ boards; I believe they are TeNo boards.
Regarding the triangle: it is an early, first-pattern type (pre-1936) and is 100% original.
Furthermore, the cord is not HJ either; the braiding is too short.
As for the jacket—unfortunately, I’m not very familiar with jackets and the various manufacturers, but it makes a good impression on me.

Here is a pic of my Stamführer straps to compare.

The jacket is authentic, I would also opt for TENO tabs.
