Interesting Cupal Proficiency badge

A friend showed me this Cupal proficiency badge. I am not sure what to think. Material looks good but the rzm stamp B marking and low number are not to my liking. As well as the pin that is not centered. Any info on this ?

Hi Cas,

Modern fake. Looks like badly-finished cast metal sandwiched between thin layers of copper. The S is not something that was stamped onto original badges. Some believe that the S has some meaning and that its presence on a badge does not automatically make it a fake but no verifiable explanations have ever been offered. For most collectors the S is spurious and a fantasy and is only seen on fakes.
