Is this HJ Proficiency badge in silver an original piece ?

Dear members,

I just joined the forum, so please excuse me if this post is in the wrong place. I’m just getting used to the site.

I’m posting this HJ Proficiency badge for reassurance that it is an original. Although I am a 50 year collector and researcher, I have just entered the HJ arena and have no experience with HJ awards as yet so your combined help will be of great benefit to me.

In my opinion, you have a nice original HJ Proficiency badge in silver - made by RZM M1/35 which is Wachtler & Lange, Mittweida.

Mine is made by the same company.

Many thanks for your thoughts, although mine is maker marked m/34 rather than m/35. Would that be Karl Wurster ?

Sorry sorry - my finger had slipped down a line in the list of RZM codes - mine is also M1/34 and it is Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen.

I can add that the stamped numbers on the back are of the same type as on mine.
