I received this wall hanging and would like to introduce it here. It is 210 cm x 145 cm.
Only sewn on one side and therefore a wall hanging for me. What do you think about it?

Maybe someone has a picture where one can see such a hanging. I am sure I saw a picture some time ago that showed this eagle in a Hitler Youth home.

Hello
I was surprised to see two similar items appear recently, both bearing the names "Nurnberg" and "Berchtergaden"; it seemed too good to be true. The quality of the eagle's stitching is very poor.

To compare I´d like to add a picture from a HJ banner ( took it from the internet). Indeed I agree to bertl59 that the stitching is very poor - but to decorate a HJ home young boys and girls often took up needle, thread and scissors themselves. Perhaps Hitler Youth members used a flag as a template, copied an eagle with tracing paper, then cut it out of white fabric and sewed it onto a black background? If I would have it straight from a family, then i would trust it, but at this moment i have to many doubts.. and yes.. a lot was home made, so.. possible..
