About the type of letters for the above shown Celle cuff-band:
Mid-September 1944 the south of the Netherlands and so Valkenburg
was liberated by allied forcres. During the search of the buildings by
GI's from the Reichsschule a bunch of brandnew cuff-bands was found
(see images).
Not ever a photograph is being found, stating the use of these. Was it
an intention and came the liberation too soon? When the allied forces
came up to the north, the young men from the Reichsschule were
transferred to a NPEA-school at Bensberg, Germany.

The different type of letters will have been caused by the fact the Gothic
script was actually forbidden since orders from Hitler in early 1941. There
does exist a lot of correspondence about this matter.
