I was looking to buy a shooting badge (M 1/77) and looking at the reverse are there 2 different attachment styles for this maker? One style looks to have a raised area for the pin plate to fit into and the other does not have that raised area, my question is are they both accepted as original from this maker?

All three look fine and to my knowledge there are no fakes with that particular MM. With this badge being introduced in 1936 and with the badge on the right having an attachment type that you often see on earlier badges I would think that this might explain the difference between it and the other two.

Garry, thank you for the help & the explanation on the attachment points.
