I find little data on this pair pieces. Ask groups thoughts?

All I can say personally is that the MHJ definitely used signal flags like this and that the MHJ unit stamp is for a unit that existed. I don't know enough about these to say whether those particular flags are authentic.
 
I've also seen several of these hand flags used by the Navy, and to me they look authentic.

Marine-HJ im Dienst explains the flags: Two signal flags are used for signalling. The flag commonly used for signalling is the ‘Cäsar’ flag (white flag with red border) in square form (size 50 x 50 cm), which is attached to a short stick (about 60 cm long). The signal flags are very easy to make yourself. (p.52)
