I received this badge. It's a ground find, and I'm classifying it as a Meisterschütze.

It's possible but there is, as far as I know, some controversy on whether M1/102 actually produced this badge during the TR. I would say that this one is a Scharfschütze as there seems to be a little of the silver wash remaining on the edge of the reverse?

Okay, I haven't looked into the badges that much yet. I also have a sniper badge from the same manufacturer. Perhaps you can see the raw material, which has a golden sheen, on the badge I found in the ground.

Oh cool. You found it yourself? Right next to me I have my old White's DFX and an Equinoxe 700 that I got a couple of years ago. You're making me want to get back out into the woods again

Unfortunately, I didn't find it myself, but I bought it for 16 euros. I couldn't pass it up for that price.
