Here is my DJ sig rune parade flag with original bayonet style topper. The pole has been created by myself because the original was destroyed... The bottom of the pole is removed for display... Enjoy ..

Already posted a picture of this flag but without the completed pole. It appears like a much more original pole with the split possible. Of course the topper and flag are quite difficult to find... Sorry for posting twice but it looks better here, IMHO. 😂

A very nice DJ flag, and the pole matches it perfectly. I hope you'll eventually get an original pole for it. Until then, the replica is a good solution.

I think the flag should be a Fähnlein flag with a unit number with that flag topper but still nice display.

Thanks and yeah I agree that it would be better like that with the unit numbered flag and someday perhaps I find one but I have seen them at least on video without the unit numbers and still carrying the pole with topper but these are normal seen at DJ-Camp-Fähne at multi unit festivals. I'll have to try and screenshot the period video I just watched with the shot. It was a unit flag bearer with two flag bearers with the no unit flags.

There were various versions of DJ flags without numbers. Only the one you showed is the same size and has the same rings as the Fähnlein flag. However, I can easily imagine that it was also worn without a numbered pattern.

I believe this is an earlier flag also, the rings aren't RZM marked nor is there an RZM tag anywhere. Perhaps that has nothing to do with it but just an interesting point. I bet there were those without unit numbers used this way, there was so much we don't know. Probably more we don't than we actually do. Haha
