Nice one. Looking at my lists I see that it was very likely awarded to a HJ member in HJ-Gebiet Baden. I don't know to whom exactly yet but hopefully some info will turn up at some point.
 
Nice thank you. . it's my niche lately and I have three more on the way, but one is a M1/120 B without the number but I have two more with a number. Hopefully one day I can find an attributed set with the Urkunde. I almost had one at the SOS until some scoundrel bought it out of my hand. 😓 I was looking at it and ready to buy it and a guy threw money at the seller, quite literally taking it from my hands. It had the sport book, pictures and the numbered pin to the kid... A great score!

It's great you've been able to find the recipient's name. :) ... I've just received two more I had bought today, although I don't think the numbers are researchable?
Here is my latest two, another M1/78 marked 79456 and an unmarked M1/120 B Deumer.. These are real beauties condition wise. :) Then a picture of all of them together with the attributed Deschler at the head of the pack and a lowly standard badge at the end until I can fill it with my newer ones. Now I wish I could rename this post to "My HJ Ehrenzeichen" because obviously I'm posting more than an m1/78 now. I have a few more headed my way, maybe I'll get lucky with them? Thanks again!

Very nice. 79456 is likely to have been awarded to someone in Gebiet Mittelrhein (later Köln-Aachen). Hopefully a name will turn up one day.
 
Thanks, hopefully someday it will come to light? I guess I'll have to check back occasionally on the list to see if any of mine suddenly appear? 1 out of 5 so far isn't so bad...

Here is my latest two. It seems that the Deumer badges didn't wear quite as well. They seem harder to find in great condition despite being the most recently produced of the badge post 1939.. There is one numbered one a B markers 80 421 Deumer m1/120 whilst the other is unnumbered... Neither are as good as the last bunch I had purchased , although I do have a nice one one the way...

Look at the beauty I received finally today! Actually I received one beauty and one beast (which is still special to me). First is my M1/52 Deschler B 62 584 and this one is nearly as perfect as the day it left the Deschler factory and I am very proud of it.

The second on is a Hoffstätter Bonn RZM 15 which unfortunately has damaged enamel but interestingly has a period screw on attachment instead of the regular safety pin. This one is numbered 19 848. Hopefully one day I find a minty Hoffstätter but for now this is my place holder.

All the pretty badges. The right side has the better conditioned pieces whilst the the left side are period examples with some condition issues. Only the first badge on the right is currently attributable to the original holder.

Made a nice little display laying them out for WAF. Probably need to find one more to complete the look? Need a nice minty Hoffstätter, tough to find.

My newest addition an Adolf Baumeister RZM M1/49 with the serial number 102546. A difficult to find maker, I have every maker of the honor badge now and all I really want now is a better conditioned Hoffstätter but I will keep buying whatever comes my way anyhow, especially the minty ones! Haha 😂

That's quite a collection of these badges :) I really like the safety device on the Hofstätter. That badge was definitely awarded to someone in Bann 230, Gebiet 10 Ruhr-Niederrhein. The award serial number would put the award date into 1935.
 
That is a special badge with that connection. Great to know what area it was awarded to someone, thanks for the compliments on my collection. They are a bit pricey these days for a nice one but I'm addicted to buying them! Haha the design is simple yet striking IMHO... I am surprised they aren't more popular to collect to be honest, I have one GPB which is mint and attributed but I love these HJ Honour Badge more. Especially my attributed Deschler that you found in the archives!

Here is my new addition, a Hoffstätter Bonn and minty condition also. Not sure if the number is on the list but a beautiful early product piece. Soon I'll have another on the way also , another Hoffstätter. I feel like I am individually driving the prices up. haha 😆

I had number 100 in the past and a few beauties, Hoffstätter is my favourite maker then. Paulman und Crone M/78. Stunning badges.

All those view's and no comment on such a nice badge no wonder forums are dying. Props to Gary for keeping this awesomme Archive going regardless.

I know I was surprised also. Thanks for the compliment. I also prefer the Hoffstätter RZM 15 first, but then I think Deschler M1/52 and then Paulmann u. Crone M1/78, not a huge fan of Deumer M1/120 or Adolf Baumeister M1/49 although I have a few Deumers and one A. Baumeister.

I took some more up close pictures of some of my best badges and will post them here also. Like you said it is a good archive and usually you'll eventually have some interaction on a thread. I always try to respond to people's threads if I have something to add or even just a compliment. I always appreciate them personally since this collection has been a lot of money and effort to build. Some day I'd like to write on these badges, I really love them and think they are underappreciated considering some very important figures in the TR wore them just like the GPB.
