If you want a good Hitlerjugend wintermutze cap at a reasonable price (239 euro ... thats 270 US dollars in todays market) here is one. If I did not have 5 of them ...I would buy it fast (Pic is from current ebay auction).

Thank you Joe. Good exemplar but I believe that the sweatband has been replaced. Just my opinion.

Agree a good cap with a replaced sweatband. Appears to have been washed heavily also. The printing in the RZM tags washes out totally even if just soaked in water. I learned this the hard way with a summermutze once.

Thank you for the warning, at least I don't have to learn this the hard way.
So I will keep in mind not ever to put water on a RZM tag.

I have sadly leard the hard way that flags / wimpel can tear,
when lifted (soaked) from the water at just one end.
We do have to remember the material is about 80 years old.
