A pair of shoulder straps from HJ Bann 1, located in Königsberg Pr. (East Prussia). The Unterbann numbers were removed at some point, but the traces are still clearly visible.

Very nice. Effective from 1.4.1936 shoulder straps with the Unterbann number were no longer available but the Unterbann number had already become redundant from 14.2.1935 when it was no longer required to use it on flags and unit numbers. In any case. that's the kind of window when the Unterbann number would have been unpicked from your straps.
