The photo in #1 sold for 107€ which is about 130$.

Yikes. Even photos are becoming crazy priced.

With this it must be obvious to you all it is getting harder and harder to write a book in which one does need
at least about 800 or about photographs, from which about half must or should be photographs from insignia
and uniforms in use. Without the free help and kind assistance from collectors it is hardly possible anymore.
So, those who think one gets rich when writing a book should think this over! Even when a photo would cost
about $20,- this would be an enormous lot of money!
