Question about HJ-Streifendienst shoulder straps

Could a srd member ever wear black shoulder boards with red piping? Or could it be white only

Yes, indeed they could. The special SRD shoulder straps were introduced in June 1942 but of course the SRD had existed before that so SRD members prior to that date would have worn black straps with red piping. Some will have worn pink, light blue, yellow as SRD members were drawn from the general HJ and also the special formations (Flieger-HJ etc).
