Hi,

It's not a youth patch. I think this design is for Wehrmacht/SS mountain troops but hopefully someone will confirm that.

of course this Edelweiss has nothing to do with HY.
It is a version as worn by the army and police and
I have seen it in wear also by customs.
I am not even sure the shown version is an original!

I may have the information in my documents, but
have not time to find out the introduction dates.
