Hello dear collectors, I would be very happy to hear your opinion. Some collectors claim these boards are copies, but I disagree. I had them in my hand and they are exactly the same fabric and piping as the Oberfeldscher boards that I photographed as an example. Even the stiffening in the flaps is the same for me. If it's forgeries, then so are the Oberfeldscher boards.
I removed the stars from the boards because I don't think they belong. Such stars were not used in the Hitler Youth. No holes for other stars can be seen.
What do you think about that? I think they are original and around 1936-38.

Hello Steve,

sorry but these shoulder boards are fake. Look carefully at the back of the shoulder boards, do they match what you have in your collection ?. The finish of the seams is poorly done and too approximate .... I hope you did not buy them, otherwise return them to its previous owner before it is too late.

Thanks for your opinion Eric. I have a good feeling about the boards and, as mentioned, the blue boards should then also be fakes. Unfortunately I haven't seen an example of other boards (back side) yet. In Wilhelm's book only the front is described. Do you have example pictures? I can still give you back.

Hi Eric, I know this back and some of my boards have this, but this back is only from me
known on the boards of 1938. Before, the back was mostly covered with the same fabric as the front. As an example, I have attached other flaps of mine.

In Wilhelm his book you can see 4 different types of embroidery and also a somewhat coarse one. (Page 538) The backs of the flaps shown would also be interesting.
 
The pattern I showed yesterday is for late shoulder boards for all high leaders.
RJF shoulder boards were either thick black velor or ribbed fabric of the same color, before 1938.

Regarding embroidery, there were several variations.

Thank you. I wouldn't like the boards on the right now. OR. I would have classified them as not good from the pictures. Certainly it's always different when you have it in your hand, but the back and the workmanship look strange.
 
Here is the fourth RJF pair that I have left in my collection,
I keep this one because it comes from the old collection of Darin (Gefolgschaft) .

I know that you are convinced by this last pair of shoulder boards and you also understand that there have been other variations ...!.
The variants are also period like this one which is early.
