Shocked! The most sad news for me since many years.
It is confirmed. He died in his sleep!
Roger was my favorite publisher. A man I could talk with
and who did understand my "broken" language! Many
years, he did advise me since my first article for his
magazine in 1990/1991. And many years before when I
was involved with the series "Headgear of Hitler's Germany".
My condolences for his family (son and daughter). Roger,
a great and friendly person, you will be missed. R.I.P.
I asked myself for years: if Roger would not have started
publishing since about 1967, how would the collector's
world have looked. He brought the TR subject to the
attention of collectors. And to the world!!
Farewell my friend. We will meet again one day
