the Rundfunkspielschar triangles are some of the most interesting triangles out there, in my opinion.
it's quite frustrating how seldom they are seen, but this is a rare treat!

I've only seen one patern in DJ, I think it's in WIM's "Hanbook"

I've seen two DJ shoulder stripes, and one was sold not too long ago, but I missed it.
Unfortunately, the prices for such rare pieces are also very high, especially if the seller knows what they're dealing with.

isn't the one in the book a drawing or an artists rendering, as opposed to a photograph of a real one?

(I'm away from my book at the moment, I'm going off of memory)

Yes, that's right. It's a drawing, because he certainly didn't have an original available.

I was extremely lucky to get such a brown pair, and in all my years of collecting, I've only come across this one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll find one someday.
 
Just on a side note there are some nice items coming up on Hermann Historica Auctions on April 30
