Hello experts..

Some time ago I got a HJ winter blouse home, which has a pair of matching shoulder straps with metal numbers..
Has anyone seen this before and what do you think??

Metal numbers were used late-war but as WernerB says, both stitched and metal on a strap? Makes no sense in the context of the TR period so someone will have had a reason to add the metal numbers. Sentimental perhaps?

I do recognize them.

They apparently are removed from a winter blouse, as they were mine in 1977,
where I did sew them on. When I purchased them two shoulder-straps were sewn together.
In between there were train-tickets (Rosenheim-Kufstein) from late war, which corresponded
with the area of 328, being Rosenheim.
They came from a private family then.

Hallo Wilhelm.. Funny that you have owned them.. - the world is small.. :001_rolleyes:

So metal numbers were on the straps when you took them from the family??
And what do you mean they were sewn together?? And where can I find your handbook??

Yes, the world is small indeed. I sold much of my stuff to a friend around.
And so the travel started!

Two straps were sewn together of the same Bann, and were consolidated
by the train-tickets.

I have no idea where my handbook is avialable, as the publisher died and so
the business ended. Maybe you find it on the internet.

I hope you don't mind Wim but here is p248 from your book for gammelnok04 showing the straps:
