The regulations are sometimes different from the practice...(It’s known but it’s better in photos!!)
photo 1 : there is a very light colored skirt
photo 2 : BDM with DJ jackets (Landjahrdienst says the description on the back)
Photo 3 : JM skirt without pocket
Photo 4: a triangle on civilian clothing

Very interesting photos. The bright skirt is out of line and isn't exactly in the BDM pattern (not only is the skirt not blue, the pockets don't meet the regulations) Really surprising, the uniform rules were strict (as far as I know) and a girl in a light-colored skirt wouldn't have actually listened to a picture in such a somewhat official formal formation. But you can see what was possible.

I also didn't know, that it was allowed, to sew territory triangles onto private clothing.

Thanks for showing the pictures.
Greetings from Marlies

We should not forget that people those days usually were not rich. Clothes were expensive and that´s the reason why many skirts and blouses were homemade. People from the countryside often did not have that chance to choose the color of material because shops were small with only a small offer. And even if you found brown velvet fabric for a climbing vest, the color could vary greatly. Patches and badges were often worn on civilan clothes until the RZM started its work. The shoes at the BDM were the most different . Among 50 girls you often find 50 different pairs of shoes.

This time a DJ-Junge who wears the arm band at the top of the sleeve

Thuringian Hitler Youth - it is the first time for me to see this armband worn on the shoulder - thanks for sharing this scarce picture with us, Bertl.

hi Chlodwig
I have no idea but after making this post I looked in my collection and found a very used DJ shirt with almost the same color !! Perhaps this is due to the quality of the dye?

Here are the photos , I made a compilation of the shirt according to the state of use, the discoloration is clearly visible. The second shows an almost new shirt and a very faded one

For the post 7 :
It's quite difficult to photograph but the strap has been modified to be worn in both directions ;This is not quality work!

Here is a Jungvolk camp picture where the shirt colours seem to vary a lot. The ones on the far right are very light in colour.

Hi
indeed it perfectly illustrates the subject Jack

I am sure we will find differences in colour in all the clothing that was manufactured during the Third Reich . Please compare these climbing vests.
