1. tinnie: I'm also a bit confused about the location on the Germany map. Bann 312 was in Memmingen - and Barbenhausen is quite far from Memmingen - see the maps.

Can anyone find an explanation for this???


2. tinnie: I have seen that there is scratched text on the back - so here is a picture of my tinnie with the designer's name and manufacturer's name.

I think that you have found another Babenhausen that I did :clap2: "My" Babenhausen is near Frankfurt A. Main (n)
"Your" Babenhausen is near to Memmingen (y) so now it makes sense

This is where the word "research" takes on its full meaning, a simple small error and the final result is totally different. But even at the risk of making mistakes, it is worth the cost of trying to advance the subject.

Very nice pieces! Thanks for showing them to us. I didnā€™t know the Gebiet 7 Nordsee Bremen existed until a couple of weeks ago when a friend acquired one for me from Germany. Here is mine in silver. I am still waiting for it to arrive.
