Unidentified shoulderstrap ...

Can someone help identify this shoulderstrap? Looks like a letter in quotes.

Photo is prewar. I have another photo of him, dated August 1939, wearing Luftwaffe uniform.

Note A-class cloth gliderbadge on left side of the uniform.

It looks like a standard pre 38 numbered Hj flieger strap .

Yes, very difficult to make out what's on that strap. It reminded me of one that was posted some years ago here: HJ shoulderstrap with M

I still can't work out what that triangle says. Anyone else?
