this is a good one i read that members from foreign HJ units would where 2 triangles which would state there country and there area maybe this is what we are seeing here this is the only thing i have read about double triangles i will check my texts for you and find out more good pic mate

In my opinion ,,, the top triangle is the original one that has seen a year of use and washing along with the shirt .
The lower triangle is a newer one .
As for the different Gebiets and the added pip and eagle , the only thing I can come up with is that he had moved to a different region within Germany and is wearing his old triangle as an honor badge .
